The Bernie Keene Cross Country Invitational at Nelson County High School is a celebration of the life and times of Mr. Bernie Keene, and the killer cross country course that bears his name. And puppies.
Our course is a challenging 2.5K loop of rolling hills. It's not ridiculous hard, but it's hard, and true cross country, not some golf course or walking path in the city park. But its no corn field either. Runners who like a challenge love it, and coaches appreciate the 2 laps so they can compare split times. It's a good run.
