From the north into downtown Owensboro after crossing the Cary Glover (US 231) Bridge into Owensboro - go straight (south) two blocks to Fourth Street. Take a left (east.) Fourth Street/ Hwy 144. After a mile or two you will pass McDonalds and continue straight for about 2 more miles before merging right onto KY-144 E. Take 144 about 2 miles to Thruston, Ky. The entrance to Yellow Creek Park will be on the right side of the road.
From the northeast crossing into Kentucky over the William H Natcher Bridge on Highway 231 S near Rockport, Indiana continue on following Hwy 60 W/231 S toward Owensboro. Exit east on Ky 144 (exit 21) and follow it about 2 miles to Thruston, Ky. The entrance to Yellow Creek Park will be on the right side of the road.
From the east (Audubon) exit right (east) onto Wendell Ford Expressway (Hwy 60/231) and follow to it around Owensboro to the Ky 144 (exit 21). Turn right and follow 144 about 2 miles to Thruston, Ky. The entrance to Yellow Creek Park will be on the right side of the road.
