Dixie Heights InvitationalMay 10th - Girls will compete on May 10.
This meet is limited to 8 girls teams. (teams entered: Dixie Heights, Dayton, Ryle, Calvary, Boone Co., St. Henry,
Beechwood, Newport Central)
Gold Medal Format: 1 entry per individual events and relays. 1 extra entry for pole vault is permitted.
No additions on meet day. Substitutions only.
Regular order of events. The 100/110 hurdle, 100 dash, and 300 m hurdles will be run in 2 heats to maintain social distancing using lanes 1,3,5,and 7. All other running events will be run in their normal format.
Starting Times: Field events start at 4:30 and running events start at 5:15.
Scoring : 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1.
Awards: 1st place-medal. Team trophies for meet winner and runner-up and male and female mvp plaques.
Field events 4 jumps/throws.
1st round: Long Jump, Shot Put, High Jump (starting heights: Girls-4), and Pole Vault (starting heights: Girls- 6).
2nd round: Triple Jump and Discus (immediately following events in round 1)
Entry Fee: $100 per team (boys and girls teams are separate).
