2021 Jim Parsons Middle School Invitational Track Meet
( 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades ONLY)
Date: Wednesday, May 5, 2021
Location: Notre Dame Academys 8-lane track
Time: 4:15 P.M. (Coaches meeting at 4:00 P.M. at the finish line)
Cost: Entry fee is $80.00 per team (Boys and Girls constitute two teams) or $5.00 per individual. Make all checks payable to Notre Dame Academy. Mail checks to Notre Dame Academy Athletics, MS Invitational Track Meet 1699 Hilton Drive, Park Hills, KY 41011.
Entry Deadline: Sunday, May 2, 2021 by 10:00 pm
Entries: All athletes should be in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. You may enter 2
athletes per event and 1 relay team per event. Up to two extra teams of 2
athletes per team and 1 relay team per event may be added for an extra team fee
per added team; however your team will be listed as one large team from your
school. All entries will be done on
Milesplit.
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (Top 8 earn awards listed below)
Awards: Medals will be awarded for places 1st through 3rd and ribbons for places 4th through 8th. Team trophies will be awarded to the First and Second place Boys and Girls teams.
Running Events: Regular order of events (no 3200m run). Qualifying time of 10 minutes or less for the mile run; and qualifying time of 4 minutes or less for the 800m open. All heats are final. The boys will run immediately after the girls.
Field Events: The order of events will be: Boys Discus, Girls Shot Put followed by Boys Shot Put, Girls Discus, Girls High Jump, Boys High Jump (no triple jump or pole vault). Long Jump will be open pit for 90 minutes. All field events will be finals with 3 attempts.
Tent Area: Teams are invited to bring team tents. There will be a specified area for tents. Please do not place any tents in the bleachers or in areas that would obstruct spectators views of the track.
Trainer: A trainer and first aid station will be available in a tent in the center of the soccer field.
Admission: $5.00 Adults, $3.00 Students and children (children under 8 will be admitted free).
Parking: Parking is available in NDA parking lots and Please remind parents and bus drivers there is no parking on the road up to St. Joseph Heights (convent).
Shirts: There will be a limited number of meet shirts available for purchase.
