SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: 

TEAMS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ARRIVE UNTIL 8am!

9:30am Coaches Meeting (1) coach per school

9:40 National Anthem 

10:00am Girls Varsity 5k Championship Race

10:45am Boys Varsity 5k Championship Race

ENTRY FEES: Entry Fee is $45 per team Boys and Girls are separate teams. Payment is required at packet pick up. 

SAFETY PROTOCOL FOR COVID: We will be following ALL health and safety protocols implemented by the KHSAA, the local Health Dept. and the Muhlenberg County School District in the separation of spectators and athletes. Masks/Face coverings will be worn AT ALL TIMES BY EVERYONE including athletes, coaches, volunteers and spectators.

SPECTATORS: There will be a $5 parking fee. ALL spectators must complete an online contact tracing form in advance and show receipt upon arrival. ALL spectators must have their temperature taken before entry is allowed. ALL spectators must stay in the designated area and will not be permitted on the course. ALL spectators MUST WEAR A MASK/FACE COVERING AT ALL TIMES and PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING! NO EXCEPTIONS! 

COACHES: All coaches must complete a temperature check on themselves, the coaching staff and their athletes before arrival and be able to provide documentation if necessary. Packet pickup will be at the concession stand along with your regional t-shirt orders. You will drop off all inhaler forms and declare your 7 runners. Appeal forms will be located at the concession stand if needed. All coaches will be responsible for their own trash and hydration for their athletes. Two coaches will be allowed on the course however you must have a coaches pass which will be provided in your coaches packet. 

ATHLETES: ALL athletes will be required to wear a mask unless they are warming up, cooling down or competing. All athletes will be called to the starting line 5 minutes prior to the start of their race. There will be no run outs! Do not bring extra gear such as clothes, water bottles etc. to the starting line. Leave these items at the designated team area. Upon race completion immediately return to designated team area. 

COURSE: Athletes may warm up on the course until 9:30am as long as they stay away from the start and finish line area. The course will be closed at 9:30am! Athletes may do run outs, warm ups and stretching in the baseball field next to the team entrance. There will be NO lead vehicle. 

TEAM AREA: Teams may set up tents or place tarps inside the softball field and practice social distancing. 

AWARDS: There will be no traditional award ceremony with no large gathering! Once the races are complete all teams need to stay in their designated team area until results are final. We will announce the results and bring your individual and team awards to your specific team area.

MISC: There will be no concessions provided. There will be a trainer on site as well as EMT staff.
