Meet Information
2020 Green County Middle School Invitational
Green County will be sponsoring a middle school track and field invitational on Thursday, May 14th. The meet will be held at Dragon Stadium adjacent to Green County High School. Green County has a 6 lane rubberized latex track with separate long and triple jump pits which are also rubberized. There is also a rubberized high jump area.
We will begin the field events at 4:30pm (central time) and running events will begin at 5:00pm (central time). There will be no preliminaries; all events will be timed finals. Each participant will be given 3 jumps or throws in the following events: Long Jump Triple jump, High Jump, Discus, and Shotput. Field event athletes who arrive late will be worked in.
There will be concessions available for your athletes.
(The running events will be altered; (Boys & Girls will both run the 100m low hurdles. No Pole Vault)
Rules:
1. Entry fee is $35 per boys and girls team ($70 for both) and must be paid before the meet.
2. Each team may have 2 participants in each event, 1 relay per event.
3. Individual Awards will be given out depending on the number of teams.
4. Trophies will be awarded to the top two teams for boys and girls.
** Scoring: standard depending on number of schools
Entries are due no later than Monday, May 11th at 5:00pm. Please submit your entries through the online entry process on www.kytrackxc.com. Go to the calendar tab and find our meet on the outdoor schedule and begin entering. This process is easier than submitting the event file and you will be able to print out an invoice for your bookkeeper. Do not fax or mail entries. Contact us for any questions concerning the meet.
