MEET: Beat the Heat
**We only want to have a small meet, so we are limiting this meet to 6 teams
per race. First Come, First Served.
DATE: August 20th, 2019
FEE: No fee, but bring own drinks and towels
LOCATION: Woodford County Park, also known as Falling Springs Arts &
Recreational Center

TIME:
6:00 PM: Boys and Girls combined Elementary 1500m
6:20 PM: Boys and Girls Middle School 1.55 mile race
6:40 PM: Boys and Girls High School 2.25ish mile race
6:55 PM: Woodford County Fire Department hoses get turned on!
DISTANCE: Elementary- 1500m ... Middle School- 1.55 miles... High School- 2.25
miles
TEAM SIZE: unlimited entries
UNIFORM: No uniform rule, but appropriate running attire is required
Entries through KyMilesplit by August 17th. Please bring any additions/corrections to
your roster to the meet and we will take care of those issues then. Late entries will not be accepted.
***Please keep runners and spectators away from the railroad tracks (Bluegrass
Railroad Museum)***
We invite all spectators to watch the races at various areas along and near the
course........however, please remind your parents/fans and other non-competing
athletes to be aware of their presence while cheering the runners and not to
impede any runner from any team.
