Saturday, October 5th Projected Race Schedule (including college, high school, and middle school races):

College Men's Gold Race #1 9:30am

College Women's Gold Race #1 10:15am

College Men's Blue Race #2 10:45am

College Women's Blue Race #2 11:30am

College Men's Silver Race #3 12:00pm

College Women's Silver Race #3 12:45pm

High School Boys Invite 5k 1:15pm

High School Girls Invite 5k 1:45pm

High School Boys Open 5k 2:30pm

High School Girls Open 5k 3:00pm

Middle School Boys 4k 3:45pm

Middle School Girls 4k 4:15pm

Note about HS races: Typically the Invite Race aligns with varsity entries (top 7 per school) and the Open Race aligns with JV entries, however if field size dictates some varsity teams may be moved to the Open Race based on prior performance.  This has been rare in the past.  Coaches are welcome to race their top 7 in the Open Race if that field is more appropriate for developing teams.

Coaches, please see the meet schedule and the map of the 5k course.  Please only enter athletes who can complete the course in the assigned time.

Friday, October 4th Projected Elementary Schedule:

5:00pm Co-Ed 3rd Grade and Under 2k (open) - Depending on entry numbers we may combine open & top 10 races, a final decision will be made after entries close on 9/29

5:20pm Boys 3rd Grade and Under 2k (top 10)

5:40pm Girls 3rd Grade and Under 2k (top 10)

6:00pm Boys 5th Grade and Under 3k (top 10 & open)

6:30pm Girls 5th Grade and Under 3k (top 10 & open)

Awards: 7:15pm (or after the conclusion of the final race)

      We are expecting a great field of high school, elementary, and middle school talent from around Kentucky and surrounding states.

      College Meet Information: All information for the collegiate races will be posted on http://loucrosscountryclassic.com. This site is only used for the high school, middle school, and elementary races.


      Sanctioning: When you add the meet to your schedule on milesplit or initiate the online meet entry process you will be included on the list of attending teams.  The meet will be proactively sanctioned for Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, West Virginia, Missouri, and Illinois.  If any teams from outside that area are considering attending, please email meet director michael.horan@jefferson.kyschools.us to see if your school can be added.  No schools may attend that are over 300 miles from the Indiana border per IHSAA sanctioning rules.
