3rd Annual GRC Heavy Metal Throwdown Invitational

George Rogers Clark (GRC) in partnership with Transylvania University will be hosting a high school track meet on Saturday March 30th, in Lexington Ky at Transylvania University. We hope to continue the tradition of this being a first rate Invitational on Transylvania's new outdoor track. Please mark your calendars and attend this meet. We will also highlight a section of our sport that sometimes is over looked that being the throwing events.

The past several years we had numerous State and Regional Champions from Kentucky and Ohio participate in the meet in a multitude of events which have lead to many meet records that could stand for years to come. But who's to say more won't be set this year.

Transylvania's Athletics Complex features an 860-seat grandstand, an eight-lane track, and an artificial turf field. Concessions, T-shirt sales and public Restrooms will also be available.
