What: 45th Annual Grant County Invitational
When: Saturday, September 1, 2018
Where: Sherman Elementary School in Sherman, KY
Directions: If you are coming from the north, take I-75 to the Crittenden exit. Turn left and continue to the stop sign. Turn right onto south U.S. 25 and travel approximately 4 miles. The school entrance is on the right- look for the signs. Coming from the south take the Crittenden exit, turn right and follow the directions underlined above.

MIDDLE/ELEMENTARY TEAM AWARDS**
*Time Schedule subject to change depending on weather conditions (ex heat related issues) so we can get the full meet in.If rain causes parking issues like last year, the contingency plan will be similar in which we will have buses transporting runners and spectators who do not come on a bus from Grant County High School. Hopefully, we will be able to secure a couple more buses, but please notify your athletes & parents to plan to arrive at a minimum two plus hours before their scheduled event. We would suggest that you transport your team via school van or bus to secure on site parking.
**Awards are presented on the stage outside the cafeteria of Sherman Elementary School. If conditions should dictate, we will move inside the cafeteria. The top 10 individuals and team awards in varsity races (top 5) will be given out at the awards ceremony, as well as the top 3 individuals and team awards (top 3) in JV, MS, and Elementary events. All other awards will be handed out in the finish chute (medals to top 40 in each event)

We hope you will join us for one of the premiere meets in the state on our challenging, yet fun, course located on the campus of Sherman Elementary School, home of Grant County Cross Country. The site has served as the host of the 2013, 2015, and 2016 Class A Region 3, Class AA Region 4, and Class AAA Region 5 Cross Country Championships. It will serve as host of the 2018 Super Regional in October. The courses will remain the same as last year, except for the MS course which we plan to use the original 3200m course. At this time, they are still doing some work around the new school district bus garage, but these should be completed soon and in time for you to join us in September. As always, we look forward to seeing you at the races and best of luck to your school and teams during the upcoming season!

* Admission $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Children not yet in school are free! All proceeds benefit the Grant County Cross Country Invitational and its participants.
* Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the concession stand located inside the cafeteria of Sherman Elementary.
* 45th Annual GC Invite T-shirts will be available for purchase inside the cafeteria next to the concessions stand.
