Bath County High School
Bath County High School Track & Field along with the KTCCCA extends an invitation to you to compete in the Area 7 Track & Field Championship on our newly resurfaced 8 lane track as we host this prestigious event. Please submit your entries to jedimasteremeritus@yahoo.com. Faxed or written entries will not be accepted. Competitor numbers will be assigned and emailed to coaches prior to the meet.
When: Saturday, May 7th 2016

Time: Track will open for warm-ups at 9:15am. Coaches meeting 9:30am
Track Events 10:30am, Field Events 10:00am. Rolling Schedule.
Facility: An eight-lane, rubberized, 400-meter track with lights & a large bleacher area.
A small grassy area for tents (Tents may be placed at the top of the bleachers)
Concession will be available
Public restrooms will be available but no dressing rooms or showers.
Admission: Cost: Adults $5. Students $2. Age 5 and under Free
Events: All standard events will be offered including pole vault

Maximum of 2 entries in each individual event and 1 relay per team.
Field events are limited to 3 attempts.
Scoring: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (Depending on number of teams present)
Top 2 score in each event.
Entry Fees: Entry Fee is $80 per team (boys and girls will count as two teams).
Schools with fewer than 8 runners in either gender can enter athletes for $10 each or $30 per relay.
B Teams $80 per team (boys and girls will count as two teams).
B Teams are not eligible for a team trophy.
B Team individuals/relays are eligible for awards.
No mixing athletes between A Team & B Team.

Awards: There will be team awards for the 1st and 2nd place: Girls and the Boys. Medals will be awarded to the top 4 finishers in each event with ribbons for fifth through eighth. Athletes finishing 1 and 2 in each event will be named 1st Team All Area 7. Athletes finishing 3 and 4 will be named 2nd Team All Area 7. The coach of each winning team will be the Area 7 Track & Field Coach of the Year.
A highest scoring award for the top female and male athlete will be presented. (Relay points to be divided by 4)
All Head Coaches are required to have paid their 2015-16 KTCCCA membership.
Clerking: (Rolling Schedule) Girls followed by Boys. Check-In for all Running Events will be at the 100 Meter start line.
Field Events will Check-In at the event site.
