NCKC TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016
Date: Tuesday, April 19, 2016
Time: 5:30 PM (or sooner if all teams arrive earlier) Coaches meeting at 5:15PM Finish line
Location: Walton-Verona Athletic Complex: Rubberized 8 lane track.
Directions from Covington, KY: Take I-75 south. Just past Richwood (exit 175) I-75 and I-71 split. Take I-71 toward Louisville. Go approximately 4 miles to the Verona exit (exit 72). Take a left off the exit and travel about mile. On the left, just past Rice Autobody will be the WV Athletic Complex.
Participants: NCKC Conference Schools only
Entries: Only 3 athletes per event and 1 relay team per event. 4 events maximum per athlete. You will also need to download, complete and send back the event file for Hy-Tek purposes (this is available online via listserve).
Entry Deadline: Sunday, April 17, 2016
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1. We will use our LYNX system which features FAT. The Sprint 8 timing system will be used for back up for timing.
Awards: Top Team (Boys and Girls). Top finisher in each event
Running Events: Regular order of events. All heats are final.
4x800 Relay and 3200 will be run with boys and girls together.
Field Events: All field events will be in finals only format with 4 attempts. All rounds following round #1 will be on a rolling schedule.
