Below is the Top 12 Moments/Races of 2012. This past year was quite arguably the greatest year in XC/Track history for the state. Records were set across the board in track and XC. KYtrackXC.com has sorted through some of the moments/races that really set the state on fire in a sense in 2012.
#3 Tretez Kinnaird Goes Sub 1:50 3 Times Breaks KY State Record
Butler junior Tretez Kinnaird ran a 1:50.56 his sophomore year in the 800m. His junior year he crossed the 1:50 barrier doing three times total. The first time was at the Eastern Relays running a 1:49.97 on the track at the University of Louisville winning by almost six seconds. Then at the Kentucky State Track Meet he rolled to a 1:49.96 to set the Kentucky State Meet Record by over two seconds. Then in the summer he did again setting the All-Time #1 for Kentucky with a 1:49.31 at the Music City Distance Carnival in Nashville.
