Top 12 of 2012: #12 Jumps Rule Field Events Top 12 of 2012

Below is the Top 12 Moments/Races of 2012.  This past year was quite arguably the greatest year in XC/Track history for the state.  Records were set across the board in track and XC. has sorted through some of the moments/races that really set the state on fire in a sense in 2012.

#12 Jumps Rule the Field Events at the 2012 Kentucky State Track Meet

The jumps areas were on fire last May at the University of Louisville at the Kentucky State Track Meet.  Class A led the way with Kelsie Courtney (Trimble County) winning the High Jump with a nationally ranked (#18)  height of 5-09.  Class AA is where it really took off with Tyler Bray (Lloyd Memorial) hitting 6-10.75  to tie the Class AA State Record.   The girls Class AA Long and Triple Jump records went down as well, with the Long Jump of 18-06.50 by Brianne Brown of North Oldham and Triple Jump of 38-03.25 by Michaela Hunter of Rockcastle County.
