Jacob Thomson has been selected to run for Team USA at the Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country Challenge in Edinburgh, Scotland on Jan 5th. This will be Thomson's first International appearance running for Team USA. He is coming off a 5th place finish at Foot Locker Nationals just last week in San Diego, California. The highly awarded runner has clearly established himself as one of the best distance runners in Kentucky history. He has best times of 1:56 800m, 4:10 (1600m), 8:58 (3200m), & 14:34 (5000m) in his high school career. He is the Kentucky State Record holder for Cross Country and the 1600m Run.
