Varsity Girls - The favorite looks to be 8th grader Alyssa Hyden (Pulaski County) who already has one victory this season at the Southern Harrier Classic. She is coming off a 3rd place victory last week at the Wayne County Invitational with a 21:35.72. She is likely to be pushed by a group from Madison Central led by Gabriella Sabino. The crew from Madison Central has been on winning streak the last two weeks and should continue that much this week as well. The host school does have a wildcard in Cora Kerber (GRC.) If she runs, she will challenge Hyden up front, but Kerber has only run once this season. She ran a 20:52 to finish 5th at the Mason County Invitational.
