KYtrackXC.com's brand new staffer, Meagan Pickett will be on-site at Noble Park tomorrow to cover the meet. She was an All-State Runner at Ballard Memorial High School who went on to compete at Campbellsville University. After graduating from Campbellsville she has returned to western Kentucky.
Noble Park has shade and nice straight aways, but it has a flood wall in the back that the runners have to go up twice, so fast times are definitely possible.
The Varsity boys race is led by AAA #4 Chase Geary who is undefeated this season. He cruised to the win last week at the Purple Strider Invitational and should do the same this week. He ran a 16:07 to win at St. Mary's last year and should push to go sub 16 trying to break the course record of 15:59 held by Sean Hurd, formerly of Christian County and currently running for Western Kentucky University. ...
