MileSplit US has released their Pre-Season National Top 25 Boys Rankings and Holy Cross senior Jacob Thomson is ranked #15 overall. Thomson is easily one of the most decorated runners in Kentucky history with career best of 4:10.69 in the 1600m, 8:58.12 in the 3200m, and 14:34.78 in the 5K. He finished as the National Runner-Up in the 5000m Run at New Balance Nationals in June. He began his senior XC season with a win in the Mid-Summer's Night Run Road Race in Lexington, where he ran a 15:15.
