Holy Cross Junior Jacob Thomson finished 19th at Foot Locker Nationals in San Diego, California last Saturday. He was the seventh runner for the South Regional qualifiers who combined together to win the battle of the regions. Thomson ran a 15:41.5 for the 5000 Meter Run.
Thomson is the first qualifier since Michael Eaton made it to San Diego in 2004 and 2005. Below shows the top time rankings for Kentucky’s 11 male Foot Locker National qualifiers since the meet started in 1979.
