The KTCCCA Meet of Champions was held on Saturday at Masterson Station Park in Lexington. The meet is the Middle School and Elementary School State Championships. Results have been delayed coming out, but here is what we know.
Boys Middle School 4K
Trenton Fryman (North Oldham) wins with a 13:42 over second place Spencer Hayden (St. Albert the Great.) Third was Cole Dowdy (East Oldham), fourth was Jordan Rose (Grant County) and Josh Hannon (St. Henry) was fifth.
North Oldham Middle wins the team championship with a score of 90 over College View with a 115. Ryle was third, East Oldham fourth, and Burns was fifth.
Girls Middle School 4K
Gabriella Karas (Collins) wins by 40 seconds over second place Lauren Ossege (Highlands.) Karas ran a 14:15 in her victory. Megan Buechler (Holy Spirit) was third with a 14:58 with Michaela Reinhart fourth and Erin Edmundson fifth.
East Oldham wins a close one 124 to 128 over North Oldham. Bowling Green was third and Daviess County was fourth.
