Grace Bethel once again proved why she's among Kentucky's premier sprinters.
The Male High School standout posted the state's fastest summer 100-meter performance with an impressive 11.78 at New Balance Outdoor Nationals while continuing to show the consistency that has made her one of Kentucky's top returning sprinters.
Bethel's combination of elite speed and experience against national competition makes her one of the favorites entering the 2027 high school season once again!
No Kentucky girl ran faster in the 800m this summer than Addison Moore.
Moore clocked an outstanding 2:09.35 in the 800 meters, a performance that places her among the state's elite middle-distance runners as she heads onto college.
The future is incredibly bright for Hannah McColl at Woodford County!
As one of the youngest athletes on this list, McColl posted an eye-opening 11.93 in the 100 meters while competing for The Lexington Stryders. Breaking 12 seconds at her age is remarkable and immediately puts her among Kentucky's most exciting young sprint prospects.
If this summer is any indication, McColl will be a name Kentucky fans will hear for years to come.
Versatility made Jaycee Hall one of the most impressive athletes of the summer.
Hall not only led Kentucky with a 135' 3.5" discus throw, but also ranked among the state's best in the shot put with a mark of 32' 8.5".
Excelling in both throwing events is not an easy task and Hall demonstrated both throughout the summer circuit. Her ability to score in multiple field events makes her one of Kentucky's most valuable all-around throwers.
Sophomore standout Maddi Baker showed she belongs among Kentucky's best throwers.
Baker launched the discus 124' 8" at adidas Track Nationals, competing successfully against a strong national field while demonstrating tremendous upside for the next several years. Baker appears poised for a breakout high school campaign.
