Franklin Central Showcase Invitational
Holy Cross sophomore Jacob Thomson finished 8th overall at the Franklin Central Showcase Invitational’s Miracle Mile tonight. He finished with a time of 4:20.02 for the full mile. This converts to a 4:18.51 for the 1600m Run which currently ranks #2 in Kentucky.
Splits were apparently hard to get as the meet allowed the fans to stand in lanes 3 & 4 on the track. He went through the 1000m mark right around 2:43.
This race was loaded with Austin Mudd winning with a 4:12.88. Two other runners were under 4:16 as well.
