Dominic Perronie, senior at Holy Cross in Louisville has decided to extend his running career past high school at Bellarmine University. The 2010 Class A State Cross Country champion joins a men’s squad that qualified for the Division II Cross Country National Championship in 2010. Dominic made significant strides in 2010 becoming one of the best in the state regardless of school size earning a place on the All-KYtrackXC.com Team.
When asked why he chose Bellarmine he said, “I chose Bellarmine University because the coaches have shown me a lot of support over the past couple years and I feel as if I can be an immediate impact on the already strong team and overall it is just a good fit for me, both athletically and academically.”
Perronie opened up his senior indoor track season with two PRS in the Mile and Two Mile on January 19th.
