Teams from six states (Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Ohio, and California) will converge on Louisville Friday and Saturday for the Bulldog Classic at the University of Louisville an open meet will be held on Friday night and the elite meet on Saturday.
Kentucky will be well-represented in every race. The Girls 800 has the making of a classic, with several local runners, Katherine Alcorn, Leah Ryan, Katherine Peterson, and Melissa Massey, chasing early favorite Ariane Sloan from Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
The Boys 400 has seven runners with a best of 50.8 or better, led by Donnell Norwood from Hamilton, California. The Boys 1600 has three runners who could go under 4:20: Michael Eaton (Greenwood, KY), Jeremy Trein (Reynoldsburg, OH) and Ryan Bryne (North Harrison, IN).
