The Butler Bears rolled at the Shelby County Invitational on Saturday placing 3 in the top 10 and 8 in the top 19 overall.  Sophomore Tretez Kinnaird led the group with a 4th place finish overall with a time of 16:44.  Freshman Patrick Gregory backed up his strong win in the Frosh 4K Race at Tiger Run last week running 16:47 to finish 6th overall in his first high school 5K ever.  The biggest key for Butler was their 7th runner.  Key returning runner junior David Bruce, coming off a pre-season injury ran a 17:33 finishing 18th overall.  He did not compete last week.    This team showed today why they were ranked #2 in Class AAA in the KYtrackXC.com Pre-Season Rankings.    

 

Sophomore Jacob Thomson fresh off his runner-up finish at Tiger Run last week won today in a time of 16:00.74.  His teammate Dominic Perronie was second overall nine seconds back.  They along with 13th place Collin Ray led Holy Cross to a 6th place team finish even wit...
