Donnie Carnes Memorial Meet

 

Ashley Collinsworth of Highlands has already had a strong season and it continued here as she took the wins in both hurdle races (17.06 and 49.09) and the 100 meters (12.75), while joining with her teammates to claim the 800 meter relay title as well, en route to the Highlands squad winning the meet. Anna Carrigan of Campbell County was very strong in her 400-meter debut, winning in a time of 1:01.03 on a windy day, and also led the Camels to the 1600 meter relay title, while teammate Taylor Robinson was a part of the winning relay, along with the winning 3200 meter relay, and took both the 1500-meter (5:09.87) and 3200-meter (12:21.07) titles as well. Field highlights included Highlands’ Taylor Rosenhagen in the high jump (5-0) and Laura Geiman in the pole vault (9-0), as well as a meet record by Campbell County’s Kennedy Berkley in the triple jump (34-00.75).
