KY Girls Performance of the Week (10/07 - 10/11)

Another week of outstanding performances, and another week closer to the State Championships. We are just 19 days away from crowning the Class 1A and 2A State Champions and 20 days away from crowning a 3A Champion. With that said, let's reflect on the performances we did see this weekend as we look to crown the Runner of the week.

Our first nominee is Addison Moore of Woodford County. The Junior won at the famed Haunted Woods winning in a time of 18:04. This was just Moore's third race this season as she looks to tighten the screws as we get closer to Championship season.

Our second nominee is Kennedy Moughamian of Lexington Christian. The talented Freshman won at Lexington's High School City XC Championships with a time of 18:27.

Our third nominee is Olivia Holbrook of Campbell County. Holbrook placed 2nd in the meet to former runner of the week, Allison Kopser at the NKAC/St. Henry Invitational. It was a tough course, but she ran a fantastic time.

Our fourth nominee is Caroline Beiting of Lexington Catholic. Beiting defeated Central's Shelby Lamb at this meet on Saturday winning in a time of 18:02. Beiting looks poised to make a run at the elusive 2A State Championship which she has been chasing since her freshman year where she placed runner-up back in 2021.
