Mercer County's Beau Brown rolled in the sprints coming home with victories in the 60m and 200m Dash. His times were 7.12 and 22.49 to win. The 22.49 ranked second out of times this weekend. He was also third in the Long Jump with a 19-06.50.
Tye Stevens of Corbin won the 400m Dash with a 51.81 and came in second overall in the 200m Dash with a 23.10. His 400m time finished up as the second fastest time out of all classes for the weekend.
Calloway County senior Daniel Puckett won the 800m Run with a PR of 2:01.43 in his third event of the day. He had previously run the 4x800m Relay and had a third-place finish in the 1500m Run with a 4:19. He then went on to finish third in the 3000m Run with a 9:21.
Riku Sugie of Thomas Nelson took home victories in the 1500m and 3000m. He ran a 4:14.89 and 8:57.45. His 3000m Run time was good enough to be third amongst all runners in the event in all classes. He was also a member of the third-place finishing 4x800m Relay team.
Marcus Floyd of Bourbon County won the Long Jump with a 20-03.50 and placed third overall in the High Jump with a mark of 6-00. His 16 points scored helped the boys of Bourbon County take home the Class AA Indoor State Championship.
Hunter Coslow of Taylor County launched a bomb of 55-10.50 to win the boys Shot Put. His throw finished second amongst all the throwers in all the classes.
