Maria Frigo, senior at St. Henry High School has committed to run for the University of Louisville next year. She ran a career best 17:51 for the 5000 Meter Run at the 2008 Foot Locker South Regional finishing 16th overall. Last spring she won the Class A 1600m State title and ran on her third straight 3200m Relay State Championship squad.
She came back from early season injuries this fall to help lead St. Henry to its third straight Kentucky State Cross Country Team Championship with a fifth place finish.
