Girls 5th Runners of the Week
Addison Cundiff- Pulaski County
Just like the Meaders of South Laurel at the Catbird Classic, the Cundiff's bookended the girls team scores for the ladies of Pulaski County. While sister Alex's 2nd place performance definitely boosted the team score, Addison's 26th place held plenty of power as they brought home a major win on the weekend.
Kayley Payne- Daviess County
A new Daviess County 5th runner appears on this series today in Kayley Payne. This past weekend they made the trip down to Memphis for the popular City Auto Memphis Twilight Classic. That trip proved to be worth it as their ladies brought home some big time hardware with the win thanks in part to Kayley and her 33 points coming through in 21:17. This wasn't a particularly close finish but an impressive one as the ladies from Daviess County took down some big time competition scoring 84 points as opposed to 2nd places 105pts.
Lilly Clifford- Henry Clay
Against some of the Lexington areas top talent, Henry Clay was able to grab a podium finish thanks to the effort by Lilly Clifford. She crossed the finish line in 30th but was able to grab an important 28pts to boost the Blue Devils to 3rd place over Boyle County by just one point!
