What was your most memorable meet and why?

The 2017 AAA Region 2 meet was my most memorable.  It was so exciting to qualify for state as a team.  We weren't supposed to advance, and that made it especially memorable!

Where did you face your biggest competition?

I faced my biggest competition each year at the Kentucky State Meet.

Out of all of your high school accomplishments which stands out the most and why?

Winning the 2018 Purple Striders Invitational both individually and as a team was a fantastic moment.  It was great to finish strong on my home course and share that moment with my teammates!

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?

I would go back and try to be more relaxed, not worrying so much about performance.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

My most difficult obstacles have been mental.  Even when I was struggling, I continued to put my trust in God and believe in myself.

What will you miss the most?

Without a doubt, I will miss my teammates the most!

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?

Continue to work hard, even when you do not feel you are improving.  Trust in your own abilities and always support your teammates!

What are your post-high school or college plans?

I will be continuing my XC and track career at Murray State University and will be majoring in Elementary/Special Education.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

First and foremost, I would like to thank God.  Also, thank you to my parents, grandparents, coaches, and teammates for always supporting me and pushing me not only to be a better athlete but a better person.
