The Midway University Women's Track and Field team is coming back after years of not being fielded. Head Coach Jay Walls is looking for quality athletes who want to take the next step in their athletic career. Jay Walls is originally from Louisville and comes to Midway from Point Park University in the River States Conference. He is reinstating the women's track program that has been disbanded since the 2013-2014 school year.
Midway University is a small private Christian university located in Midway, Kentucky. We are located on a beautiful 200 acre campus with a short 10-15 minute drive to Lexington and Frankfort. We are also a little over an hour away from Louisville and Cincinnati. We are a member of the River States Conference and participate in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Midway University and it's athletic department are experiencing tremendous growth and expansion during this time. It is an exciting time to join the rapidly growing athletic department and university. We do have academic, institutional, out of state, and athletic scholarships available.
