The boys 110m hurdles will have a new king after Bryan Station's Isaiah McCall graduated and went onto the University of Cincinnati. Louisville Male's Darian Clyburn comes in with the best time from the 2017 season and has been solid this indoor season with a 5th place finish at the UK High School Invitational in the 60m hurdles in 8.12. However, he will not be without competition his class or even city with Christion Horton of Ballard who was runner up to Clyburn at the 2018 Wildcat Classic. With that being said, Aaron Johnson of Mercer County may be the best hurdler we have seen in recent memory (yes, better than McCall). His time of 7.95 in the 60m hurdles at the UK High School Invitational is the faster than McCall ever ran indoor, with the exception of his time at New Balance Indoor Nationals. We will have to see what Johnson does at New Balance in a week or so, but we may be watching something special. Add in Lukas Jones from Mercer and there may be another 1-2 finish for the Titans in May.
