Watch Molly Stigers place second at the 2017 KTCCCA Meet of Champions Varsity Race
Well well well...this one mirrors the team race as a tough one to place runners in an order. With the graduation of one of the greatest runners in Kentucky high school history, Michaela Reinhart, there are legitimately eight to ten young ladies that could be in the top 5. The one that stands out to me is Maggie Schroeder from Highlands as she has had the best time on the state meet course at the Lexington Catholic Invitational as she took down the current #1, #2, #4, and #5 runners in Class AA on that day. Not to mention the fact that she will be competing for a team title and posting a 1 would be a huge boost to the Highlands team. The best time in the state for Class AA currently belongs to Franklin County's Molly Stigers and she will be in the conversation for the state title, but here are my picks for the top 5.
