The second Cross Country Coaches National Youth Championships will be held at Voice of America Park, West Chester, Ohio, Saturday,December 6.Established by cross country coaches interested in promoting youth running, the first meet attracted over 700 entries last year in Lexington, Kentucky.The meet looks to attract double that number this year with nationally recognized teams Brocaw Blazers, Philadelphia CYO,ProspectHeights,Greater Cleveland Track Club, Team Kentucky, Jenks America, Batavia Accelerators and Knoxville Track Club among others are scheduled to compete.
Some defending national champions expected to return include Maksim Korolev, Eric Castillo, and Rachel Hardgrave of the Brocaw Blazers, Katherine Rack and Jereme Atchison of Prospect Heights, Rebecca Stover of Knoxville Track Club, Bailey Roth of the Trail Monkeys, and Olivia Sargent of Philadelphia CYO,
Voice of AmericaPark was the site of the 2006 NCAA Division III National Championships and the 2008 USA Track & Field National Club Championships.
