Mercer County Frosh Meghan Owens has been named to a national team called Project Javelin. She was a Javelin winning machine this past summer, taking titles in the Emerging Elite at New Balance Nationals, her age group at AAU Junior Olympics, and USATF Junior Olympics. This is the javelin not the TurboJav either. She will be traveling in a training group including a trip to compete in Finland next summer.
