Class A Boys
Not to plagiarize myself from 2014, where I previewed the exact same thing before that XC season regarding Class A Boys, but this is another year to watch what will unfold in the NKY with St. Henry and Bishop Brossart battling it out once again. Last year was the 2nd year in a row Bishop Brossart claimed the Class A State Championship over their rivals, and previous dynasty, St. Henry. Admittedly, they looked the favorite to repeat towards the end of the season and St. Henry would have had to run very well while Brossart had a bad day to claim the title. This year is a difference story, however. Brossart lost 5 of their 7 at State to graduation, while St. Henry only lost 2. St. Henry led by returner Josh Hannon, a senior-to-be who finished 4th at state last year will look to go back on top. Could this be a sign that the winds of change are blowing in favor of St. Henry once again? Lexington Christian (Aaron Wier/Adam Huff) and Holy Cross (Lou.) (Keeton Thornsberry) will be right there with them with loaded front groups.
