XC 2015: 6 Story Lines to Watch XC 2015

Class A Girls

I always feel like a broken record when I write about this, but when you win 7 of the past 8 state championships (props to you, 2010 Fairview Ladies XC) you have to give credit where credit is due and in Girls Class A, St. Henry deserves a lot of credit. Their continual dominance of Class A and being one of the top programs in the state regardless of class is really something to behold. This season they are returning 5 of the 7 from their team from State with Renee Svec and Holly Blades both looking to lead the charge. The one team in Class A that has potential to break St. Henry’s streak would be the Lady Hornets of Hancock County. Their biggest advantage is that they are returning their entire team from the 2014 state meet. Their top returner from State last year, Emily Woodward is only a freshman but placed 15th. While St. Henry should have the dynamic duo of Blades and Svec up front, if Hancock County is looking to sneak one by St. Henry in November, they will have to do it with a pack-attack and a great day from all 7 of their ladies.
