It was cold and wet for the track athletes in Kentucky yesterday.  Some of the scheduled meets were cancelled because of the dreaded weather.  However, the Invitational of the South, Commodore Classic, and Lake Cumberland Classic all went on with their scheduled races.  One Kentucky team went to the Taco Bell Classic in South Carolina.  Here is a recap of what happened.

Kaitlin Snapp won the 1600m & 3200m helping Danville.  The Danville ladies also won all the relays except the 1600m.

Danville won the boys title, collectively taking three of the four relays.  Other wins for the Danville team include Derrick Henderson 200m, Ross Hempel 800m, and BJ Strode 300m Hurdles.  Chrys Jones led Mercer County to second with his three victories in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, and High Jump.  Brandon Ford (Mercer County) won the 100m and 200m Dash.
