KTCCCA INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD

STATE CHAMPIONHIPS

MARCH 1ST  & 8TH

 

Location: Mason County Indoor Athletic Complex/Carmeuse Facility

                  725 Clarks Run Road

                 Maysville, KY  41056

 

Spectator Facility: 70,000 square foot heated building. Bleacher seating is available for approximately 800 persons. 350 paved parking spaces on site. Concessions and restroom facilities are available.

 

Athletic Facility: 8 lane 55 meter rubber surfaced track. 4 lane 133.3 meter oval. In-ground LJ/TJ pit 9’ x 24’ with full rubberized runway. High Jump with rubberized surface. Indoor Shot Put area. FAT timing system.

 

CHECK IN PROCEEDURES:

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. THIS IS A DIFFERENT CHECK IN PROCEEDURE THAN WE HAVE DURING OUR REGULAR SEASON MEETS.

Teams:

All buses will enter the main entrance off Clarks Run Road and proceed up the drive. All buses will drop athletes off at the indoor track facility before parking. Any athletes being transported in private vehicles should follow the instructions for passenger vehicles for parking but must follow the check in instructions for teams into the facility.

Once off the bus, teams will enter the facility thru the door beside the double loading dock. This is the basement storage area of the building. In this area you will find team check-in. Packets will be made available to coaches. Athletes will be provided bib numbers which are the athletes only means of entry into the facility. Teams will be provided with 2 coaches passes. After check in, teams will walk up the ramp from the basement area into the main facility. Athletes must have a bib number for entry into the facility and coaches must have a coaches pass.

 

Spectators:

All spectators will enter the main entrance off Clarks Run Road and proceed around the building to the main parking lots. If athletes are being transported, they should assemble as a team and enter the basement area where their coach will be given their packet.

ALL Spectators will enter the building thru the main entrance on the North side of the building.

 

ALL TEAMS AND COMPETITORS MUST ENTER THRU THE BASEMENT AREA. NO ATHLETES/TEAMS WILL BE ALLOWED ACCESS THRU THE MAIN ENTRANCE.

 

Coaches:

A traffic flow map is provided. Please share the spectator parking directions and the map with your parents. Also please make your parents aware that we are charging a $5.00 admission fee to the facility. (There is no parking fee)

During the times that the first meet of the day is concluding and the second meet of the day is preparing to start, the facility and parking lots will be crowded. Please plan accordingly.
