Saturday many of Kentucky's best are traveling to compete at the Great American XC Festival in Cary, North Carolina, home of Nike Cross Regionals for the Southeast.
In the Race of Champions on the boys side is AAA #1 St. Xavier and AA #1 North Oldham. The girls side has #1 Assumption, #2 Bowling Green, and #3 Sacred Heart all matching up. This should give a clearer picture in AAA girls.
Individually, AAA #1 Patrick Gregory is running along with Lafayette's John Spencer and Sayre's Nicholas Waltman in the boys Race of Champions. Gregory is a name to watch out for in this race as he has experience after a 24th place finish last year with a 15:32. Sayre's Maddox Patterson will be in the Girls Race of Champions.
