Jacob Thomson & Patrick Gregory to run at Arcadia in California Tonight

Jacob Thomson, senior at Holy Cross and Patrick Gregory, junior at Butler will run in the 3200m Run at the Arcadia Invitational in California tonight.  Gregory is up first at 11:17 PM Eastern Time with Thomson following at 11:45 Eastern in the fast heat.  Thomson ran last year breaking the 9 minute barrier for the first time ever with an 8:58.12 in 15th.  This meet is mega loaded which will help Thomson go after the KY #1 All-Time 8:48.39 that Bobby Curtis, St. Xavier and Villanova University ran at Arcadia in 2003.  Gregory has a best of 9:10.45 and he will look to match Thomson's exploits last year and break 9 for the first time.

Thomson, is an XC and Outdoor All-American who has signed to run next year at NC State.
