COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College's Sharon Ronoh is the Mid-South Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, for the award period ending Sept. 11, conference officials announced on Monday.
The weekly conference honor is the first of the season for Ronoh.

About Our Team
NAIA Institution with Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor programs competing as a full member in the Mid-South Conference.
The women's Cross Country program has held the highest GPA at 3.57 (09) of any sports program representing Lindsey Wilson College the past seven years straight. We have also achieved Mid-South Conference Championship status two of five years. Women's indoor and outdoor track and field programs are runners-up at 3.47. 2011 Lindsey Wilson finished 20th in the nation at the outdoor national championships. Three school records were broken: Sharon Ronoh 4th in the 10k (35:37.41) and 5th in the 5k (17:20.10)runs achieved All-American status with both performances, Ricardo Vergara in the 5k race walk (22:39.91) also became an All-American.
