The XC team competed in their first race of the year Monday night at Fulton Co. Even though the team has only been practicing 2 weeks, the finishing times were very pleasing. Senior Brian Tucker outdid himself in the Regional Class A Track competition at Tilighman on Saturday. Tucker not only broke his personal record in discus by tossing 140 feet to claim the Class A Championship. Tucker also placed first in shot put throw. Nathan Bledsoe placed first in the long jump.
