Welcome to the Waggener Wildcat Invitational!!
We are excited to kick off the Track & Field season here in St. Matthews on what we hope to be a beautiful day! We look to put on a wonderful, efficient and fun program this Thursday March 30th 2023. We will contest a traditional lineup of relays, field events, individual running events along with some open events. We will also have a lovely coaches hospitality room available.
TIME: @5:30pm Thursday March 30th 2023
**coaches meeting will be held at 4:30pm**
AWARDS: will be distributed to 1st & 2nd teams (trophies) and 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers.
ENTRY FEE: will be $80.00 per gender team. Maximum $160.00 per school.
Teams looking to bring single athletes will have a $20.00 fee per athlete, up to 4 athletes.

ATHLETE PARTICIPATION: Because it is an invitational all scored events will be 2 per event. However, we will contest two open field events (Long Jump & Shot Put) and two open running events (100m & 400m) in which each team is allotted 10 competitors in each event. THE OPEN EVENTS WILL NOT BE SCORED FOR THE INVITATIONAL.
ORDER OF EVENTS: will be traditional aside from the open events.
Field Events:
-Long Jump Boys & Girls then switch to Triple Jump (Open Long Jump will sprinkle in)
-Discus Boys, Girls Shot first then switch (Open Shot Put will sprinkle in)
-Pole Vault Girls & Boys together
-High Jump Girls then Boys
Running Events:
-Open 100 Dash
-4x800 Relays
-100/110 Hurdles
-100 Dash
-4x200 Relays
-1600 Run
-Open 400 Dash
-4x100 Relays
-400 Dash
-300 Hurdles
-800 Run
-200 Dash
-3200 Run
-4x400 Relays
