Meet Information
Come compete in a great new meet and give back to the community at the same time. The Pink and Blue Run for a Cause will take place Aug. 19 at Charlie Vettiner Park in Louisville. Proceeds from the meet will be donated to The Kids Cancer Alliance, a Louisville based non-profit that provides programs designed to help children with cancer and their families have enjoyable, positive experiences, create valuable memories, and enhance their quality of life both as individuals and families. A secondary donation will also be made to The Family Scholar House and Dare to Care's Kids Cafe. We've set a donation goal of $5,000. Help us crush this goal.
This fun meet will serve as a kickoff for elementary and middle schools and a practice meet for high schools. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, with the focus more on helping a good cause than on competition.
A food truck will be on site.
We also encourage your team to bring water balloons and water guns and have parents spray their children as they run by to help beat the heat.
We hope we can get most schools from the community out to support a worthy cause and have some fun while competing against the clock and competition.
Wear Pink & Blue:
Encourage your athletes to wear Pink & Blue gear.
Awards:
There will be no team awards, but medals will be awarded to the top 25.
T-Shirts/Admission:
T-Shirts will be sold on site for $15 and a $5 parking fee will be charged.
We hope to have pre-Sale shirts available soon at www.glccseries.com

$50 per team or $10 per individual - Unlimited entries
