Meet Information
WHEN: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2012
WHERE: Marshall County High School Campus, located one mile off Exit 47 of the Purchase Parkway on Hwy 68 in Draffenville, KY.
WHO: Any middle school AND varsity team who wish to experience a unique racing event.
WHAT: Middle school and varsity teams will compete together as one team in the TWO mile race. Top 5 varsity and top 5 middle school runners will combine for one score. Also, teams will be divided into two groups and start on two different starting lines. Both courses will merge into one race at approximately the one mile marker. In order to score as a team, you must have 5 high school AND 5 middle school runners.
MEET SCHEDULE:
Based on arrival of teams:
5:30 PM Girls Race
6:00 PM Boys Race
SCORING:
The varsity races will be scored using Hy-Tek software. Runners will be assigned numbers and the numbers MUST be placed on the front of the RIGHT hand.
AWARDS:
Overall Male and Female
Top two teams Boys receive 5 medals for varsity, 5 medals for middle school
Top two teams Girls receive 5 medals for varsity, 5 medals for middle school
