Former Lafayette runner Mia Cornette has transferred to Woodford County High School in Versailles. She will immediately be eligible for the Yellow Jackets. Even with the move, she will be staying in the same region and will be able to defend her regional title from 2011. She was 15th last year in Class AAA but was ranked in the top 10 most of last season.
She takes over the #1 spot for Woodford County after the loss of senior Rachel Effinger to graduation.
