16. Sydney McLaughlin Breaks High School 300m National Record

"Competing at the Armory's Artie O'Connor College Invite, high school senior Sydney McLaughlin won the women's 300 meters in 36.82 seconds, breaking Francena McCorory's 11-year-old national record. Since 2015, McLaughlin had run 37.09, 37.11, and 37.49, which before tonight were the second, third, and fourth fastest times on the high school all-time list."
