The Mobile Challenge of Champions is going to be run this Friday and Saturday in Alabama.This event is typically one of the top meets in the Southeast this early in the season.In fact three of Kentucky’s best performances ever have happened at this meet. Owensboro speedster Casey Combest ran a 10.34 100m Dash in 1999, Jonathan Brown former Union County/Western Kentucky jumper leaped 24-03 in 1999 also, and Andy Fryman of Mason County/University of Kentucky threw 62-10 in the Shot Put in 2003.All three of those performances are Mobile Meet Records.This year looks to be no different with several Kentucky athletes making the trip south to compete.
